Linux Virtual Machine – Discover Commands To Be Followed!

Linux virtual machine is operating systems that run towards one another. This machine, can do in vice versa not including in installing the virtual operating system on a hard drive to the Linux.This virtual system acts as a seperate computer by its own virtual devices, but you can use this devices on the host or in the physical machine. In experiencing this operating system and free to commit mistakes on your data as you install Linux on a machine.

 Follow guidelines carefully:

1. First, download by installing the Virtual Box, this free program from Oracle is to create running the virtual machine.

2. Be sure to allow Virtual Box to run after you finish installing. From there you can see a word welcome message in the empty window.

3. Create a new machine through selecting the word “New” icon on the left corner of the window at the top. Now the New Virtual Machine Wizard now launches.

4. Click “Continue.” Give machine an appropriate name. Linux virtual machine, the distribution of the name is excellent. Type word “Ubuntu.” If the setting will not match your distribution, select Linux and be sure version is appropriate.

5. Try to go for the memory allotment of the machine. If default is sufficient you can restrict it or the memory is at the cost of performance then increases it, unless it has a large amount of memory.

6. Create a hard disk virtual.  This physical hard drive is the equivalent and it will store the data in the operating system then partitioned is within the machine.  Leave the “Boot Hard Disk” box checked, hit and continue creating a new disk.

7. Select whichever vigorously expanding or storage has fixed-size. Whether it will work or not plan is still installing a lot of programs and storing a lot of data as the best alternatives.

8. Give the new one hard disk a name, if possible similar name or same size. To account for an additional programs and might as well use that later atleast 8 gigabytes to be used.

9. The virtual machine should be make. Just continue meeting the requirement the hard disk creation and then select “Done” at each prompt.

10. Continue to select one of the virtual machine listed on the left side. At the right window of the machine system memory and display storage options.Type network devices and audio devices.

11. Select the unfilled line beneath the storage tree.  As you can see, on the right side of the screen there is a drop labeled “CD/DVD Device.” Click the folder icon down in order to bring up the Virtual Media Manager.

12.  Next click “Add” on the buttom top of menu bar. Find the .iso file for your Linux distribution using the dialog file. So .iso is going to appear on the list and then you can exit in the media manager.

13.  Again select the iso which you add from the CD/DVD device then drop down on the storage settings window and try tom hit “OK.”

14. The startup messages will appear. Press “F12” chooses the CD-ROM as boot device. Linux virtual machine will attempt to boot the .iso, add and display the distributions set-up prompts.And then install the OS on the physical machine.
